Clinic Overview
The UCLA Child OCD, Anxiety & Tic Disorders Clinic specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety and related problems in children and adolescents. Our primary goal is to provide effective treatments for youngsters suffering from anxiety disorders, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Selective Mutism (SM), Tic disorders, Social Phobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Separation Anxiety Disorder (SAD), and Trichotillomania. Through our clinic we provide ongoing therapy (usually lasting about 6 months), one-time diagnostic evaluations and/or medication management. The clinic operates every Monday afternoon, at which patients meet with one of our psychiatry residents or psychology interns for 45 minutes while being supervised by an attending doctor.
